Not your thing? Don’t worry, we have instructors in petrol vehicles also.

Yes, we offer group classroom based lessons where you will learn the road rules, the demerit point system and associated fines.

It is also a perfect place to ask questions in a relaxed environment if you are a nervous driver, or hear other questions you may not of thought of!

There is no perfect number of how often you should have lessons, however we recommend you have at least 1 lesson per week.

Try to avoid leaving big breaks between lessons as this often means you forget what your instructor has taught you and they end up having to re-teach you what you have done before on your following lessons.

This is highly dependant on each individual learner. However typically most require around 7 - 10 hours of instructor lessons. For less confident learners, or those who do not get time to practice outside of lessons it is not uncommon to book up to 20 or more.

Remember everyone learns differently and this is dependant on each individual. Once you have had a lesson with your instructor they will be able to advise you how many they believe you may need.

You can use your own vehicle if you would prefer, as long as you are a competent driver, and have a clean, roadworthy and registered vehicle.

Alternatively you can opt to use your instructors vehicle, which has dual controls for safety, and also helps nervous drivers have more confidence, and feel safer on the roads while learning.

3. See your instructor on the day and learn to drive!

You can reschedule or cancel your lesson with Ready Set Driving School anytime online.

There is however a 24 hour cancellation policy that applies to all cancellations and reschedules.

We only accept payments via our online booking system.
No cash payments are accepted and all payment must be paid upon booking of a lesson online.

Yes, you definitely can book lessons if you already have a drivers licence. Driving instructors are able to assist anyone learning to drive. You do not have to be a learner to have an instructor.

There are a number of reasons you may wish to have a lesson even if you already have a drivers licence. They can be:

• You have not driven in a long time, or frequently and want to relearn skills you have forgotten.

• If you require a boost in confidence.

• If you have recently moved to a more busy location and want to improve your driving in these areas.

• You have moved from overseas and need to transfer your licence.

Ready Set Driving School! has and will enforce, a 24 hour cancellation policy.

You are required to give Ready Set Driving School! 24 hours notice you are wanting to cancel, or reschedule a lesson.

Upon failure to do so, you will forfeit the cost of your lesson in full, and payment of another lesson must be made before another lesson will be booked and/or completed.

We understand there may be extenuating circumstances for a cancellation, and Ready Set Driving School! reserves the right to waive payment under these circumstances.

A positive COVID-19 result or a close contact does not waive this policy. **

We can pick you up and drop you off at a different location as long as they are both in our service area's and there is no other prior arrangements our instructors have with other students that my stop us being able to do this.

Yes! You can change your instructor anytime no questions asked online!

Simply search your desired pickup address again and choose a new instructor.

Speak with your instructor if possible for any issues with your lessons.

However if this is not possible, please contact us on 0425 886 012, or email via lessons@readysetdrivingschool.com.au for any issues you may be experiencing that your instructor cannot deal with.

Unfortunately sometimes a specific instructor may not be available on the time or date you require. If this is the case, please either select a new time/date or choose a different instructor.
